Frequently asked questions
It depends on what has been replaced. If your home had ceiling cable heat, baseboard heat, an electric furnace or another type of resistance heating that was replaced in favor of a heat pump, maybe. Final eligibility rests with our member services team. If you just replaced an old heat pump with another heat pump, then you would not qualify for a rebate.
No forms needed! The only documentation you will need to submit is a copy of your heat pump’s AHRI Certificate of Product Rating. If you were not given the document when the install was completed, contact the place where you purchased the heat pump.
No, you will receive a check for the rebate amount in the mail. Once all information has been submitted, it typically takes about 4-6 weeks for your rebate check to arrive.
